Montagnes et Haut-Pays de l'Afrique(2) Utilisation et Conservation des ressources

The second africain mountains and Highlands conference was held between 19th and 28th of September 1990 in Rabat, Morocco. The conference was placed Under the high patronage of his majesty King hassan II. Financial support was provided by the united nations university and UNESCO. Mohammed V University and the faculté des lettres et des sciences humaines in Rabat and Agadir served as host institutions. Participants came from africa, Europe and the Americas. Prior to the conference, a two days training session in Geografic Information Systems was attended by about twenty participants.
